Clione vs Ranketta. Same word, different job.

Ranketta tracks how AI assistants see your products across a long list of engines, and adds an agent that rewrites titles, descriptions and attributes for your feeds. Clione enriches the whole store, publishes the signals through your platform and reads the live page to check them. If you need to watch many assistants, start there. If you need the catalog itself fixed and proven on the page, start here.

The verdict

Pick Ranketta if the question you need answered every week is how AI assistants see your products, across as many of them as possible, and you want to start today on a public plan with a free trial. Ranketta tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Grok, Meta Muse, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Alexa, adds a merchandising agent that rewrites product data for your feeds, and is self-serve from the first click.

Pick Clione if the question is what your store actually publishes for those assistants to read. Clione enriches every product, category, collection and content page, writes the structured data, the FAQs and the meta, publishes them through your platform's own API when you press Push, and then reads the live page to tell you what rendered.

One word, two products

Ranketta and Clione both call what they do enrichment, and both mean something real by it. They are not the same thing.

At Ranketta, enrichment is the merchandising agent that sits on top of a visibility tracker. It rewrites titles, descriptions, GTINs and attributes so a language model can parse them, gives every proposal a confidence score, and ships the fixed data to Amazon, Google Merchant and Czech marketplace feeds such as Heureka, with native Shopify and Shoptet integrations. It comes with the paid plans above the Tracker plan and runs on credits.

At Clione, enrichment is the product. Each entity gets a core identity, reasoning on who it is for and the objections it answers, keywords in your catalog's language, a JSON-LD graph and FAQs, written from what you taught it about your brand. Then the loop closes on the page: publish, fetch, compare.

Where Ranketta is stronger

  • How many assistants it watches. Ranketta offers eight or more AI engines to track, picked per plan. Clione measures ChatGPT and Gemini. If you need Perplexity, Claude, Copilot or Alexa in the report, Ranketta has them and Clione does not.
  • Feeds beyond Google. Fixed data goes to Amazon and to Czech marketplaces such as Heureka as well as Google Merchant. Clione sends its feed to ChatGPT shopping and Google Merchant Center.
  • You can start tonight. Public prices, a 7-day free trial and self-serve signup. During the beta, a person at Clione opens your account.
  • An MCP server on every plan. Ranketta's data already reaches Claude, Cursor or any MCP client. Clione's MCP server is arriving.
  • Articles, too. Ranketta drafts articles for AI search and syncs them to your site after you approve them. Clione does not write blog content.
  • Backing and names. A €1M pre-seed round led by Lighthouse Ventures, and a logo wall that includes T-Mobile, Rossmann and Metro.

Where Clione is different

  • It enriches the whole store, not just the product feed. Products, categories or collections, and content pages each get enrichment, FAQs, publish and verify.
  • It publishes through your platform. The BigCommerce Widget API, Shopify metafields with app embeds, and the Clione plugin on WooCommerce, all rendered on the server. Ranketta lists BigCommerce among its connected platforms; how it writes back to a BigCommerce store is not documented.
  • It checks the page. After each push Clione fetches the live page and reports what rendered against what it pushed, and warns when a PIM or the platform overwrites a field it wrote. Ranketta can ask for approval before a change or apply changes on its own above a confidence-score threshold; what it checks after is not documented.
  • It keeps what machines read. A JSON-LD graph with a stable @id beside your theme's own, FAQs at catalog scale, and the last three versions of every entity with a restore.

Facts about Ranketta were read on 15 October 2026 from ranketta.com, its pricing page, its post on AI product enrichment, its Shopify App Store listing and Vestbee, 27 November 2025. "Not documented" means we found no public source for it, not that it does not exist. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

Before you choose

What people ask when they weigh both.

Both say enrichment. Is it the same thing?

Not quite. Ranketta's enrichment agent rewrites titles, descriptions, GTINs and attributes, each change with a confidence score, and ships the result to feeds and to Shopify or Shoptet. Clione's enrichment writes the signals for every product, category, collection and content page, including the structured data and FAQs, and publishes them only when you press Push.

Which AI assistants does each one measure?

Ranketta measures more of them: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Grok, Meta Muse, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Alexa, chosen per plan. Clione asks ChatGPT and Gemini whether they recommend you, and who they recommend instead. If breadth of tracking is the job, Ranketta wins it.

Can I use both?

Yes. Ranketta to watch many assistants, Clione for what your store publishes and to check it rendered. If one tool rewrites a field the other pushed, Clione's next sync names the field and the date, and re-pushing stays your decision.
