Clione vs Peec AI. One finds the SKU that AI skips, the other fixes its data.
Peec AI tracks how AI answers mention your brand and, since June 2026, how ChatGPT's shopping results treat each SKU. Clione writes the signals AI assistants read into your store, publishes them through your platform and checks the live page. If you need the measurement, start there. If you need the catalog fixed, start here.

The verdict
Pick Peec AI if you, or your agency, need to know how AI answers see a brand, in several markets, week after week. It is one of Europe's own: built in Berlin and launched in February 2025. Its own site says it is trusted by more than 3,500 brands and agencies; Sacra counted roughly half of its customers as agencies. Its pricing page says it has raised €7M, while BeBeez reported an €18M Series A in November 2025. Since 6 July 2026 its AI Shopping module imports your catalog from Shopify or a CSV and tracks each SKU in ChatGPT's shopping results.
Pick Clione if the question is what to change in the catalog so that assistants can read it and recommend it. Clione enriches every product, category and page, writes the structured data, the FAQs and the meta, publishes them through your platform's own API and then reads the live page to tell you what actually rendered.
A list of gaps, and who closes them
Peec AI is built to measure precisely and stay out of your site. Its Actions suggest what to do next, a new kind of content or a placement on a third-party site. Since 13 October 2026 a content optimizer lets you edit that content inside Peec, but publishing it to the store is yours, and Peec has no direct cart integration. That is a choice, not a gap, and it keeps the numbers clean.
It also means that when Peec shows a SKU losing, somebody has to change that product's data, and then the next one, across the catalog. Clione does that part: it rewrites the product's signals, pushes them into Shopify, BigCommerce or WooCommerce when you press Push, and checks the live page. The two sit at opposite ends of the same loop.
Where Peec AI is stronger
- Breadth of measurement. Three models of your choice on each plan, extra models as add-ons, and up to 13 on Enterprise, including Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. Clione asks ChatGPT and Gemini, and does not pretend otherwise.
- SKU tracking in ChatGPT shopping. Visibility, position and win rate per product, from a catalog fetched from Shopify or uploaded as a CSV, yours or from Google Merchant Center.
- Markets and teams. Any supported country or language at no extra cost, and unlimited users on every plan.
- The agency channel. About half its customers are agencies, so your agency may already know it well.
Where Clione is different
- It writes into the store. A JSON-LD graph on every product page, FAQs across the catalog, keywords, meta titles and descriptions, published through the platform's own API, server-rendered.
- It checks the page. After each push Clione fetches the live page and reports what rendered against what it pushed, and warns when a PIM or the platform overwrites a field it wrote.
- It closes its own loop. For each hero product it shows the attributes ChatGPT and Gemini quoted for the competitor that won, and one click adds them to the next enrichment.
- It sends the catalog where shopping agents read it. Peec reads your catalog to track it; Clione builds a feed from the enriched catalog and uploads it to ChatGPT shopping every day.

What people ask when they weigh both.
Can I use both?
Yes, and they fit. Peec AI shows which SKUs lose in ChatGPT's shopping answers and who wins instead. Clione rewrites the data on those products, publishes it in your store and checks the live page. Peec can then tell you whether it moved.
Does Clione measure as many assistants as Peec AI?
No. Clione asks ChatGPT and Gemini, and shows who replaces you when they stop recommending you. Peec AI lets each plan choose three models and tracks up to 13 on Enterprise, across countries and languages. If breadth of measurement is the job, Peec does more of it.
Does Peec AI change anything in my store?
No. It reads AI answers and suggests actions, and since 13 October 2026 it has a content optimizer with an editor inside Peec, but it does not publish to your store and it has no direct cart integration. Getting the change into the catalog is left to you, and that is where Clione comes in.
