ChatGPT shopping and agentic commerce start with your catalog.

An assistant can only recommend what it can read. Clione sends ChatGPT shopping a fresh feed every day, puts a JSON-LD graph on every product page and serves a plain-text document for every product, then shows you whether ChatGPT and Gemini name you.

ChatGPT shopping

A feed with a factual description.

OpenAI's agentic commerce starts with a structured product feed, and its spec asks every item for a factual description, a price, its availability and an image. Clione builds yours from the enriched catalog and uploads it to the SFTP account OpenAI gives you, every day.

  • Built from the catalog you already enriched, not a spreadsheet kept by hand
  • Every build lists the products it left out, and why
  • The same feed carries to Microsoft Merchant Center and Meta, with the steps in the settings

Gemini and Google's AI Mode

Merchant Center, and the page itself.

For its AI features, Google asks for up-to-date Merchant Center data, important content in text, and structured data that matches the visible page. Clione fills a supplemental feed for Merchant Center and publishes the graph on the page, then reads the live page back.

  • Attributes filled only where your store states them
  • Google's product category only when it matches Google's official list exactly
  • Every signal checked on the live page after a push, and flagged if it goes missing

Agents that read text

One product, without the theme around it.

An agent that wants one product can read that product's document: its details, who it suits, the common concerns and its questions, in plain Markdown served from your store's own domain.

  • Every product, category, collection and content page gets one
  • A product deleted in your store disappears at once from what Clione serves to agents
A stack of thick bound document folders, seen edge-on.
Then measure

Ask them who they recommend.

Clione puts your shoppers' questions to ChatGPT and Gemini and shows whether they name your products, and who takes your place when they don't. With Google Analytics connected, you also see which orders came from AI assistants.

Before you send anything

What people ask about ChatGPT shopping.

Can Clione get my products into ChatGPT shopping?

Clione sends your catalog to ChatGPT shopping every day; whether and where your products appear is OpenAI's call. What Clione adds is the answer to the next question: whether ChatGPT and Gemini name your products when a shopper asks, and who they pick when they don't.

What is agentic commerce?

Shopping where an AI assistant finds and compares the products for the shopper, and in some places takes them through checkout. In ChatGPT it starts with a structured product feed the merchant shares with OpenAI.

Which assistants does Clione check?

ChatGPT and Gemini, the two assistants Clione measures by default. Both are asked the questions your shoppers ask, product by product.

My store is on Shopify. Doesn't Shopify already do this?

Shopify carries your products into AI channels through its own agentic storefronts, and Clione works on what those products say. What Shopify's own AI reads has the detail.

Do I need to change my theme?

No. The feed is uploaded from Clione, the documents are served on your own domain, through Shopify's app proxy or, on BigCommerce, a subdomain you point at Clione, and the graph reaches the page through your platform's own API: the Widget API on BigCommerce, metafields and two app embeds on Shopify.

What does it cost?

Nothing, during the beta. Clione is taking selected stores into this stage, in limited places, free of charge, and prices are published when the beta ends in Q1 2027.
