Accessibility

We build clione.ai to be read with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or a small screen, and we test it before every publication. This statement is our own assessment, and it lists what we know is not right yet.

Updated 5 October 2026

Our target

The target for this website, clione.ai, is level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, on every page. We assess the site ourselves; it has not been audited by an outside organization. Against that target, the site partially conforms: the limitations we know of are listed below.

This statement covers clione.ai, its Spanish pages included. The Clione dashboard at app.clione.ai and the documentation at docs.clione.ai are built separately and are not covered by it.

What you can expect

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, shows where the focus is, and starts with a link that skips straight to the content.
  • Every page can be read and navigated without JavaScript. The search, the theme switch, the language offer and the floating bar need it.
  • Text and controls meet the contrast the target sets, in the light theme, which is the default.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, the site removes its non-essential motion rather than slowing it down.
  • Every page can be read at 400% zoom, and on a screen 320 pixels wide, without scrolling sideways or losing content.
  • Each page declares its language, and a passage in another language is marked as such, so a screen reader reads it in the right voice.
  • Images that carry information have a text description. The video at the top of the home page is decorative and silent, and screen readers skip it.

How we test it

Some checks run every time the site is built:

  • every pairing of text and background colors the design system allows is measured against the target's contrast ratios;
  • every animation is checked so that it does not move the layout, and reduced motion is applied to every animation at once, at the source.

Before every publication, and on every page:

  • an automated accessibility test (axe-core) runs in a real browser and must find nothing;
  • the page is rendered at four widths, including the 320-pixel and 400% zoom cases, and must not scroll sideways.

A failure in any of these stops the publication.

Automated tests find only part of what makes a page hard to use. Before the site launches, we also go through every kind of page with a keyboard alone and with a screen reader.

What does not meet the target yet

Text over the moving image on the home page. At the top of the home page, the headline sits over an image that changes as you scroll. We have tested the contrast of that text at its resting position, but not yet at every point of the animation, and in the middle of it the contrast may fall below the target. If you turn on reduced motion on your device, the animation does not run and the text stays on the background we test.

The dark theme. The theme button switches the site to a dark version. We have not yet tested the dark theme's contrast, and some colored panels may be harder to read in it. The light theme, which is the default, is the one we test.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site is hard or impossible for you to use, write to help@clione.ai. It helps to tell us the address of the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and any assistive technology you use. If you need the content of a page in another format, ask and we will send it.

About this statement

We prepared this statement on 5 October 2026 by assessing the site ourselves. We update it when a limitation listed above is fixed or a new one is found.
