## The verdict

**Pick Authoritas ACE** if your store is on Shopify and your team already lives in SEO data. ACE is free to install, bills by usage, syncs your catalog, drafts titles, descriptions and SEO copy you approve before anything ships, adds structured data without theme edits and exports enriched feeds for Google Merchant Center and OpenAI. Behind it sits Authoritas's rank tracking and AI search visibility platform.

**Pick Clione** if your stores are not all on Shopify or WooCommerce, or if you need the whole store done and proven on the page. Clione enriches every product, category, collection and content page on Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce, publishes when you press Push, and then reads the live page to tell you what rendered.

## An SEO data company, now writing

Authoritas has sold SEO data for years: keyword research, rank tracking, competitor analysis, site audits and APIs, with Allianz, Lands' End and Michelin among the logos on its site and agencies such as Merkle and Mindshare among its users. Its AI search platform tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek and Google AI Overviews.

ACE, its Agentic Commerce Engine, launched on the Shopify App Store on 30 July 2026, and it is the feature set closest to Clione's we have found inside Shopify. That makes it a fair fight on Shopify. The app is new and has no reviews yet, and beyond Shopify it reaches WooCommerce through a WordPress plugin that syncs products, enriches titles, descriptions, Product schema and Q&A, and reverts a product to its original in one click.

## Where Authoritas ACE is stronger

- **The data behind it.** Rank tracking, keyword research and site audits come from the same company. Clione does no rank tracking.
- **More assistants measured, on the wider platform.** Authoritas's AI search platform tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek and Google AI Overviews. Clione measures ChatGPT and Gemini.
- **Install it today, pay as you go.** Free to install from the App Store, with 1,000 AI credits a month free and $0.01 a credit after that. Clione is not on the App Store, and during the beta a person opens your account.
- **Blog articles.** ACE publishes them. Clione does not write blog content.
- **More than one language.** The listing names multi-language support. Clione writes in your catalog's own language.

## Where Clione is different

- **BigCommerce and headless too.** BigCommerce through the Widget API, Shopify through metafields and app embeds, WooCommerce through the Clione plugin, all rendered on the server, and headless set up with you.
- **It covers the whole store.** Products, categories or collections, and content pages, each with enrichment, FAQs, publish and verify.
- **It checks the page.** After each push Clione fetches the live page and reports what rendered against what it pushed, and warns when a PIM or the platform overwrites a field it wrote.
- **Three versions and a restore.** Every enrichment is snapshotted and any of the last three can be restored.
