## The verdict

**Pick Adobe LLM Optimizer** if your store runs on Adobe Commerce and your company already lives in Adobe's stack. It tracks how ten LLM families talk about your brand, benchmarks your share of voice against up to five competitors, and on Adobe Commerce writes approved product names and descriptions straight into the catalog, with an override in the Admin. For an enterprise with a Technical Account Manager, that is a lot of ground covered by one vendor.

**Pick Clione** if you are a growing SMB with a big catalog on Shopify, BigCommerce or WooCommerce, or a headless storefront. Clione enriches every product, category and page, writes the structured data, the FAQs and the meta, publishes them through your platform's own API when you press Push and then reads the live page to tell you what actually rendered.

## If you run Adobe Commerce, go to Adobe

Clione does not connect to Adobe Commerce, and this page will not pretend otherwise. Adobe's integration is native: approved suggestions are saved to the Commerce catalog like any other product update, and on 27 July 2026 Adobe announced product discovery on LLM surfaces as a native capability of Adobe Commerce. If that is your platform, Adobe is the shorter road.

The two also make a different choice about who sees the work. Adobe's Optimize at Edge changes the page at the CDN for AI agents only; people and SEO bots keep the original. Clione puts its signals in the page every visitor gets, server-rendered through the platform, so Google, the shopper and the assistant all read the same thing. Neither is wrong. They answer different questions.

## Where Adobe LLM Optimizer is stronger

- **Measurement breadth.** Ten LLM families, including ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, with competitive share of voice. Clione measures ChatGPT and Gemini only.
- **Native to Adobe Commerce.** The enriched name and description land in the catalog itself, with an Admin override to keep a value you typed.
- **One vendor for the rest of the stack.** At Adobe Summit in April 2026, Adobe Commerce announced feeds for LLMs and marketplaces, agentic commerce protocols and a Commerce MCP server.
- **No change at the origin.** Optimize at Edge works at the CDN layer, on Fastly, Akamai, Cloudflare and other CDNs, so the CMS is not touched and the store does not have to run on Adobe Commerce. It can also inject FAQ content into the page it serves to AI agents.

## Where Clione is different

- **It is built for the platforms SMBs run.** Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce, and headless storefronts set up with you.
- **One page for everyone.** The JSON-LD graph is rendered server-side: the Widget API on BigCommerce, metafields and app embeds on Shopify, the Clione plugin on WooCommerce.
- **It covers the whole store.** Products, categories or collections, and content pages, with FAQs across the catalog.
- **It checks the page and names what changed.** After each push Clione reads the live page, and when a PIM or the platform overwrites a field it wrote, the next sync names the field and the date.
- **Your own model, your own key.** Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini.
